Language lovers, rejoice! Mango Languages just got twice as big! Ten new chapters and over 1,000 additional learning hours have been added to 42 language courses. The new content will be automatically added to your Mango database. When you log in with your library card to start, you will be accessing all the new materials as well.

Gale Courses that the library offers to its cardholders are set to begin on July 16. You can register for any number of classes and in any subject area that appeals to you. The goal is to provide lifelong learning opportunities for you to learn, at your own pace, new skills or improve existing ones. Take advantage of the vast array of instructor-led courses soon.

hoopla Digital now has a mobile app for the Kindle Fire HDX 7" and 8.9" models! Open the browser on your Kindle Fire device, type slideme.org in the URL, select go to install SlideMe. Sign up for a SlideMe account. You can then search for hoopla app within SlideMe. Detailed downloading and step-by-step installation instructions can be found on hoopladigital.com/support. You can install hoopla without installing SlideMe, but you will not be prompted when hoopla has an app update.

Starting on July 1st, the library will be adding TV episodes to its hoopla offering. Thousands of movies, TV programs, music and audiobooks are available to library patrons to stream or download on their PCs or mobile devices. Borrowing and returning items is quick and easy. Once the lending period has expired (3 days for movies and TV, 7 days for music, and 21 days for audiobooks), titles are automatically returned to the library. Use your CPL card to open a hoopla account. You can check out up to 20 items per month from your hoopla account.
