Chase's Calendar of Events

Chase's Calendar of Events was started in 1957 as a humble 32-page booklet by  William D. Chase, an Ann Arbor man. The world's greatest datebook has been in publication ever since. It is the authoritative guide to special occurrences, holidays, anniversaries, celebrity birthdays, religious observances, sporting events, and more.  Mr. Chase will observe a special day of his own on April 8 when he turns 90

Gabrielle Giffords to Leave Washington

Sunday Giffords announced that she would resign from the U.S. House to focus on her recovery from the attempted assassination on her a year ago. In Gabby: a story of courage and hope, a book that she and husband Mark Kelly coauthored with Jeffrey Zaslow they relate their moving account of a family surviving tragedy and the logistics of living through a medical nightmare.

Lunar New Year Celebration

We are ushering in the Year of the Dragon with many cultural presentations including bonsai, origami and calligraphy. Students from area Chinese Language School will perform Chinese yo-yos, an old art form from China. You will have time to visit with the presenters and sample light refreshments. Children will get a paper yo-yo as souvenir.
