Have you hit a snag with your e-reader?  Patrons in need of one-on-one assistance can come in on Fridays from 10:00-11:00 AM to receive basic or extended help with borrowing or downloading books to your electronic device.  No registration required, just drop in!

New OverDrive App Available

A new version of the OverDrive app for Android, iOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod touch), and Windows 8 is here!  This update features the following changes:
  • The long-awaited elimination of the Adobe Authorization step from the app installation process.
  • The app name has been shortened from “OverDrive Media Console” to “OverDrive.” To support the new name, the app website has moved to http://app.overdrive.com.
  • Users will be able to return Open EPUB titles before the end of their lending period. All formats that the app supports can now be returned before expiration.
First-time users will now be prompted to create an OverDrive account. There is no change for existing users who already have an Adobe ID or OverDrive account associated with their OverDrive app, even after they update to the newest version.  For more information and help visit the OverDrive Help page.  

New OverDrive Media Console Coming Soon!

We are delighted to announce that a new version of OverDrive Media Console (OMC) for Android and iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch) is on its way. This release will include a new and improved interface design, enhancements such as syncing reading progress and bookmarks across multiple devices, and improved performance. OMC v3.0 will be available to Android and iOS users on August 20, 2013 and users will be prompted to install the new version.
