Children ages 2 and under and their caregivers are invited to join us for a special drive in movie... but first you'll have to make something you can drive. We'll spend the first part of our program turning the perfect child's play thing — a cardboard box — into a kiddie friendly vehicle. Then we'll all watch a short movie. And then you'll get to take your newly created cardboard car home! Registration begins Wednesday, May 29th at 9:00 AM.
Program Date: Monday, July 22nd at 10:00 AM in the Community Room

Two Classic kids movies hit significant anniversaries this year. Either one would be a great idea for your next movie night.
Holes [videodisc] by Walt Disney Pictures presents in association with Walden Media a Chicago Pacific Entertainment & Phoenix Pictures production, an Andrew Davis film — Based on the Newbery winning children's book, this camp adventure starring Shia LaBeouf is 10 years old this year. It has it all...humor, adventure, family, friendship, and stinky shoes.
The Sandlot [videodisc] by Twentieth Century Fox in association with Island World ; a David Mickey Evans film ; written by David Mickey Evans & Robert Gunter ; produced by Dale de la Torre, William S. Gilmore ; directed by David Mickey Evans — If you haven't seen this classic baseball adventure in the 25 years since it came out, you need to rectify it. A newcomer to town makes friends and faces fears while learning the fine game of baseball on his local Sandlot.

Looking for fun science videos? If you've enjoyed Bill Nye and the Magic School Bus, you should discover the Squibs series. These DVDs created for upper elementary students teach science concepts such as weather, cells, chemistry and the laws of motion with fun animated characters and songs. The series was developed by Ignite! Learning, which develops Digital Learning materials for schools. And they have a very similar feel to the popular book series Basher Science. Check one out today!
