Talk It Up: Read & Write

This program is for kids ages 7-10 who like to hear stories and talk about them, too. Participants will listen to a story read by a Children's Librarian, discuss it with each other afterwards, and then write a short book review. Books chosen for discussion will vary in genre and include fiction, non-fiction and biographies. No need to read the book ahead of time - just bring your listening ears and then get ready to talk it up!

This discussion will help participants build literacy skills, as well as their vocabulary and writing skills.

Program Date: September 20, 2:00 PM
