Conquer a New Genre

Are you in a reading rut? Summer is a great time to try something new.

Use the drop-down menus on the Kids Book Lists page and May We Suggest blog to generate suggestions for a brand new read. Try a graphic novel, audiobook or ebook for a fresh reading experience. If you're feeling brave, combine a new format with a genre you've never read before to truly conquer this badge.

Can't find anything inspiring? Fill out the May We Suggest form to receive personal recommendations.

Something's Missing in the Children's DVD Collection

Beginning today, the J DVD collection is getting an update. Over the next month each J DVD will get a new three-letter label. These labels (that look just like the ones on the Adult DVDs) will make it easier to find the titles you're looking for.

J DVDs will not be available for check-out while they are being re-labeled. The good news is that each movie should be unavailable for less than one day. If you need help finding what you're looking for, please ask one of the librarians at the Children's Reference Desk.
