A year with Marmalade by Alison Reynolds — A cat and a little girl cope with the loss of a friend. Look for A New Friend for Marmalade as well.

The snowy day by Ezra Jack Keats — A young boy enjoys the magic of a wintry day in this Caldecott-winning picture book.
Lucy rescued by Harriet Ziefert — Lots of opportunities for howling, this is the story of a new dog adjusting to her new home.
Families with young children can get dressed in their most comfortable costumes and get your dance on. This program is an open dance party for our littlest patrons to get movin' and groovin' with their grownups to some great spooky tunes. After we've danced the monsters away, be ready for a costume parade through the library!
Families with children ages 4-8 can join us for an evening of stretching imaginations and being creative. We might even learn a new thing or two. Expect stories, crafts, and games. Register beginning September 25.
Drop in at the library to explore and learn a bit about airplanes and the folks who fly them for Aviation History Month. Enjoy independent activities, including making a paper airplane to test.
