Celebrate South Haven's maritime history at this year's Harborfest celebration. Festivities include food, crafts, boat racing and a Renaissance festival, and run from June 20 to the 23rd.  Have fun and earn your My Mitten badge at the same time.

Visit the new exhibit at the Cranbook Art Museum and earn your My Mitten badge! Opening June 14, Michigan Modern: design that shaped America celebrates our state's contributions to modern design, including the architects Albert Kahn, Eero Saarinen, and Minoru Yamasaki. The exhibit will be available until October 13. The Cranbrook Art Museum is also part of this year's Michigan Activity Pass program.

The 2013 Electric Forest Festival takes place this year in Rothbury, Michigan from June 27-30. This year's performers include The String Cheese Incident, Passion Pit, Yeasayer and Pretty Lights. Click here for directions and have a great time earning your My Mitten badge.

The official celebration takes place in June, but you can find activities to celebrate going outdoors throughout our Connect Your Summer experience. Use library materials to learn a new outdoor sport, plan an outdoor adventure, or just to find a great book to take outside. Share your experience to earn a badge.
