International Folk Dance Celebration

The International Folk Dance Program is being held at the Canton Public Library on Saturday October 13th at 2:00 PM in the Community Room. This free family-friendly event will feature dances, sounds and tastes of the many cultures that make up our community. Bring the whole family for a celebration of music, dance, food and culture.

Honor Sikh Temple Shooting Victims on August 12

On August 5th, 2012, a gunman killed 6 innocent people and critically wounded three at the Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Mourners began paying their final respects Friday to six worshipers gunned down by a white supremacist at a Sikh temple in the US almost a week ago.

In remembrance of the victims of the shootings and to create awareness about the Sikh religion, the Canton Gurdwara will have a "remembrance prayer" and "Langar" (lunch) at its premises on Sunday August 12th, 2012 at 12:00 PM. Everyone is welcome. Please pass the message along to family and friends.
