Puzzle Station

Completing an entire puzzle can be quite a feat, but together we can connect the pieces in no time! Stop in to the Library to work on one of the featured puzzles at our Puzzle Station. 

Add a few pieces as you pass by, or pull up a chair and relax for a bit. Work alone or with a friend. We'll have different puzzles throughout the summer, so be sure to check back for new challenges.

Speaking of challenges, this and other activities are a great way to complete your Connect Your Summer challenges and help us work toward our community goal! Are you ready to have your Best Summer Ever?

TechBoomers: Identify and Avoid Fake News

If you or someone you know is struggling to catch up in the age of smart phones, apps and social media, TechBoomers can help! TechBoomers is designed with Seniors in mind to help Internet Beginners understand popular websites and apps, offering multi-part tutorials that explain things simply and easily.

TechBoomers also offers tutorials on basic Internet Safety and other online topics. Recently, the site put together a Guide to Fake News, to help users understand what they're reading and evaluate the source, preventing the spread of misinformation.

Global Road Warrior - Learn about People and Cultures Around the World

Information is broken down into categories such as Culture & Society, Food & Recipes, Language, National Symbols, Business Culture, Music, Education, and more! 

Global Road Warrior is an excellent resource for student projects and a great companion for international travelers.

Gale Courses Begin December 7

Get a jump start on your healthy resolutions with Gale Courses! Gale courses can teach you to create a sustainable weight-loss plan, prepare healthy and delicious meals-even how to respond to medical emergencies. New Years is right around the corner, after all...but why wait?

All Gale Courses are free with your Canton Public Library card, and the next set of classes is will begin on Wednesday, December 7. Learn on your own schedule, and receive a certificate of completion when you've finished. Our goal is to provide lifelong educational opportunities for you to gain new skills or improve existing ones. New sessions are offered every month.
