Are you a student who loves science? Do you have a good idea for an experiment that you’d like to share with the world? If so, be a part of the Google Global Science Fair 2011. To help make today’s young scientists the rock stars of tomorrow, in partnership with CERN, The LEGO Group, National Geographic and Scientific American, Google is introducing the first global online science competition: the Goole Science Fair. It’s open to students around the world who are between the ages of 13-18. All you need is access to a computer, the Internet and a web browser. The Grand Prize winner of the Science Fair will win an amazing 10 day trip to the Galapagos Islands with National Geographic Expeditions. Do you like to have soup in the winter, when it's really cold? I do, and so does this special little girl in Soup Day. On a cold, snowy day, a young girl and her mother shop to buy ingredients for vegetable soup. At home, they work together — step by step — to prepare the meal. While the soup is cooking, they spend the time playing games and reading. Before long, Daddy's home and the family sits down to enjoy a homemade dinner.
