Chocolate Fever Book Discussion

Kids, you are invited to join us in discussing Chocolate Fever by Robert Kimmel Smith. Registration begins Tuesday, March 2. Little Black Crow

Wild about Mo Willems!

If you love the Pigeon books, or have your own Knuffle Bunny, you will enjoy this night of fun with Mo Willems books. Kids ages 5-8 are invited to join in the fun Wednesday, February 23 at 7:00PM. We will read some classic Mo Willems stories and create a "Mo" inspired craft. Registration is now open.

Cookie Monster presents Sesame Street Science "Sink or Float." This YouTube video is an interactive science experiment where you can discover why things sink and why they float, all while learning the scientific method. Google Science Fair 2011

Are you a student who loves science? Do you have a good idea for an experiment that you’d like to share with the world? If so, be a part of the Google Global Science Fair 2011. To help make today’s young scientists the rock stars of tomorrow, in partnership with CERN, The LEGO Group, National Geographic and Scientific American, Google is introducing the first global online science competition: the Goole Science Fair. It’s open to students around the world who are between the ages of 13-18. All you need is access to a computer, the Internet and a web browser. The Grand Prize winner of the Science Fair will win an amazing 10 day trip to the Galapagos Islands with National Geographic Expeditions. Soup Day

Do you like to have soup in the winter, when it's really cold? I do, and so does this special little girl in Soup Day. On a cold, snowy day, a young girl and her mother shop to buy ingredients for vegetable soup. At home, they work together — step by step — to prepare the meal. While the soup is cooking, they spend the time playing games and reading. Before long, Daddy's home and the family sits down to enjoy a homemade dinner. Fairy Tale Fun Family Storytime

This family storytime is for princes and princesses of all ages. Bring your queen or king (mom or dad) to a royal storytime of fanciful fairytales on Saturday, December 4 from 2:00-3:00PM. We will read stories and make a fancy magical craft. Dress in royal regalia and enjoy being noble for a day!
