Check out the Michigan Senior Olympics 2017 being held in Oakland County, August 11-20. The Summer Games begin with an opening ceremony at Bloomer Park in Rochester Hills on Friday August 11th and end with a Celebrations of Athletes Dinner August 17th. The Rainbow Book List is created by a committee of the same name as part of the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Round Table of the American Library Association. Each year, the committee reads and selects quality books "with significant and authentic GLBTQ content, which are recommended for people from birth through eighteen years of age."
