You can either download or stream the recording onto your device, and there are about 9,800 titles for you to choose for yourself and your children. Open a hoopla account with your CPL card to start. Use 'hoopla digital' as keyword to search in our catalog, or just browse on the hoopla site. 

The recent Android updates have rendered hoopla audiobooks incompatible. Midwest Tape is working diligently to get a new version of the Android app to release. If you have encountered audiobooks not working on your Android devices, just know it is being worked on. Please keep your eyes peeled for the new release soon. And we apologize for the inconvenience.

hoopla's iOS app update is now available!  Music downloads on devices running iOS 7.1 have been re-enabled.  You can now download, listen to a song or an entire album on repeat.  A bug in the sleep timer has been fixed as well. Good news to all iOS7.1 users. What is hoopla? We are excited to bring you this multi-media platform that offers thousands of streaming and downloadable movies, music albums and audiobooks to the Canton community. Starting on December 18, Canton card holders can stream or temporarily download the media to their Apple or Android smartphones, tablets and computers after signing up with their email address, password, and CPL card number. All titles are available instantaneously, and there is never a wait to borrow. The automatic return feature removes the items after the loan period expires. Movies lend for 3 days, music albums for 7 days, and audiobooks for 21 days. Register for an account by visiting hoopla Digital on your computer, or using the hoopla app from the Apple app store or the Google Play store. Browse or search for a movie, music or audiobook to borrow. The borrowed title can be found under the My Titles tab for viewing/listening. Enjoy!

OMC Version 3.0 for Android and iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch) is here. This release brings you many exciting and convenient features. If your Android device is running OS 4.0 or newer, your Apple devices are iOS 6 or newer, iPhone 3GS or newer, iPad 2 or newer, and iPod Touch 4th generation or newer, you can go to your app store to upgrade to OMC V.3.0. Older iPads can use OverDrive Read or Kindle app to read eBooks.

We are delighted to announce that a new version of OverDrive Media Console (OMC) for Android and iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch) is on its way. This release will include a new and improved interface design, enhancements such as syncing reading progress and bookmarks across multiple devices, and improved performance. OMC v3.0 will be available to Android and iOS users on August 20, 2013 and users will be prompted to install the new version.
