World Read Aloud Day Coming February 3, 2021

Created by the nonprofit organization, LitWorld, World Read Aloud Day has been going strong in over 173 countries and is in its 12th year. Scholastic provides some great resources for you to use to participate.  Also, enjoy their list of all the books selected for World Read Aloud Day 2021. We have many of them, so be sure to come check one (or 20) out! If you do participate, be sure to use the hashtag #WorldReadAloudDay or #WRADChallenge. Happy Reading!

If you could have any ocean animal's superpower, whose would you choose? If you could shapeshift like a giant Pacific octopus, you could squeeze through even the smallest gaps. If you could snap your claws like a coconut crab, you could slice through sheets of metal. An awesome book of ocean animal superpowers!

A plucky Chicken Little who is not afraid of anything suffers momentary panic when bonked on the head before the entire barnyard becomes convinced that the sky is falling, challenging Chicken Little to calm everyone with facts and reason.
