Beloved author of the Encyclopedia Brown series, Donald J. Sobol, passed away July 11, 2012. He was 87 years old. His Encyclopedia Brown series debuted in 1963 and has delighted children for decades. Sobol's son has said his father died of natural causes. Mr. Sobol is survived by his wife, sister, three children, and four grandchildren.

You supply the paintable item, for example, shirts, canvas shoes, bags, socks, pillowcases, etc., and we will supply the paint and other fun things to decorate your creations with. On Sundays, June 24, July 15 and August 19, CPL staff visits the Canton Farmer's Market to host a storytimes and crafts. The Canton Farmer's Market is open from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM. Storytimes are at 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. For all ages.
