OASIS (Openly Available Sources Integrated Search) is a search tool designed to make the discovery of open content easier. It currently searches open content from over 90 different sources and contains over 300,000 records. These include textbooks, open access books, and public domain books and audiobooks. Also available, are videos from the Library of Congress, and TED talks. Some of the many subjects covered are technology, economics, business, humanities, history, chemistry, anatomy & physiology, music, psychology, health, and education. Calling all cyber-sleuths!  Develop your detective skills at Web Detectives on Wednesday, February 17, 2:00-3:00 PM, in the Community Room.  You'll learn how to evaluate web sites and determine if the information they provide is reliable.  This program is for ages 9-12 and registration is required.
