Sacrilege: a thriller by S.J. Parris — On Monday, August 27 at 7:00 PM at Nicola's Books in Ann Arbor. Dr. Darcy Lockman will talk about her challenging, yet fulfilling, journey to become a psychotherapist. She received her Ph.D at Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University. She is currently a practicing psychotherapist in New York where she lives with her family.

Google Science Fair 2011

Are you a student who loves science? Do you have a good idea for an experiment that you’d like to share with the world? If so, be a part of the Google Global Science Fair 2011. To help make today’s young scientists the rock stars of tomorrow, in partnership with CERN, The LEGO Group, National Geographic and Scientific American, Google is introducing the first global online science competition: the Goole Science Fair. It’s open to students around the world who are between the ages of 13-18. All you need is access to a computer, the Internet and a web browser. The Grand Prize winner of the Science Fair will win an amazing 10 day trip to the Galapagos Islands with National Geographic Expeditions.
