UM STEM - Fall 2019

The Canton Public Library has partnered with the University of Michigan’s Technical Communications department to bring a series of fun and exciting STEM workshops to the library. These workshops will present a wide range of topics in the science, technology, engineering and math disciplines. Each session has been designed and developed for kids aged 11 – 13 by engineering students at the university. Registration is required and begins October 24, 2019.

 

* Colonizing Mars - If mankind were to expand it's horizons on to other planets, we would have to use multidisciplinary engineering to create thriving spaces. How would you plan to live on Mars?

* STEM in Forensics - Forensics science is used to solve mysteries every day! Learn how chemistry and biology are key scientific principles used to solve crimes.
