This week the music world lost a legendary composer and performer. During his four-decade music career Prince (or The Artist-Formerly-And-Then-Once-More-Known-As-Prince) recorded 39 studio albums on his own and with a variety of supporting musical groups, including the Revolution, the New Power Generation and 3rdeyegirl. With his stereotype-smashing style and incredible musical aptitude, Prince topped musical charts dozens of times with songs such as "When Doves Cry,"  "1999," "Musicology," "I Would Die 4 U" and many more. He also starred in four films, including Purple Rain.
