Reduce Stress and Get Organized

For the New Year, CPL conducted an online survey asking patrons what they would like to accomplish in 2017. We compiled lists of resources and programs that will help you meet those goals this year, so look out for more blog posts that address the goals we read from your surveys.

For patrons who told us their goal for 2017 is to reduce stress, get organized, become healthier, learn a new skill, be more confident and be happier, check out this list of upcoming programs that can help you make progress on your goals:

Mindfulness for Stress Reduction- patrons are invited to live in the present moment during this workshop with the hope of leaving with the tools to reduce daily stress and build inner strength. This program is scheduled on January 31 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.
Taking Time Out for Tea- this workshop will highlight the benefits of tea during the tasting while discussing how valuable it is to enjoy the simple things in life, like brewing a pot of loose-leaf tea. Tea Tasting is scheduled for February 5 at 2:00 PM. Registration is required.
Bullet Journaling Workshop- bullet journaling is an analog trend that helps track doctor’s appointments, water intake, daily emotions and more. This workshop aims to give you the tools to get and stay organized. This program is scheduled on February 18 at 1:00 PM and registration is required.
