CPL Staff Presents at Michigan Library Conference

Librarian Dan Patton at Michigan Library Association conference

The 2018 Michigan Library Conference was an opportunity to learn and share for several of our staff. This annual conference was held in Novi, Michigan.

Deb Sobczak co-presented Special Needs Story-Time: A Best Practices Approach; Lisa Boyd co-presented Prime Time Family Reading Program, Laura Fawcett and Laurie Golden shared Reframing Ordinary into Extraordinary: Starting with Why, and Dan Patton co-presented When Librarians Ask the Questions: Trivia Programming in Public Libraries.

Attending and sharing at professional conferences fulfills many of strategic plan goals and objectives, helps us learn ways to provide the best service to our community, and demonstrates leadership and excellence in the field of librarianship.
