This Mother's Day, make a difference in the lives of women experiencing violence and abuse by donating to First Step, an organization dedicated to reducing domestic and sexual violence and providing service to individuals affected by these crimes.

First Step has requested the following items:

• adult coloring books
• colored pencils
• knitting or crochet kits
• extra yarn
• gift cards to local stores (Target, Meijer, Kroger, CVS, etc.)

The Canton Public Library will accept items May 1 through 13. Thank you for supporting this vital organization in our community.
