Logging in With Your New PIN

When you log in on the My Account page, you will be asked to enter a PIN. We've instituted PINs to help secure your account

Log in screen

Enter your library barcode, the 14-digit number on the back of your library card, in the first box, with no spaces.

Enter your PIN in the second box. Your default PIN is the 8-digit birthdate (mmddyyyy) associated with your account. For example, if your birthday is May 15, 1991, your PIN is 05151991.

If you are unsure which birthdate is associated with your account, or the PIN entry fails, you will receive an error message. You can try again or choose Forget Your PIN? to reset your PIN to a new value.

PIN Reset

You will be directed to a page to request a PIN reset. Enter your 14-digit library barcode in the entry box, with no spaces between digits. An email will be sent to the address on file with a reset link. You may also call the library at 734-397-0999 to have your PIN reset.

Change Your PIN

Once you have logged in, you are able to reset your PIN. In My Account, click on Modify your PIN to be directed to change your PIN. We recommend that you reset your PIN as soon as you are able.

Modify PIN

You can change your PIN to any numerical combination. The PIN must be at least 7 digits and no longer than 13 digits. Numbers with three repeating digits, for example, 1114570, or repeating number pairs like 12121212, are not valid. If you need help, please call us at 734-397-0999.
