Battle Bunny Book Transformation

Battle Bunny coverWho says you shouldn't write in a book?  Come to our Book Transformation program on, Monday, July 13, 2:00-3:00 PM, and -- in the spirit of Jon Scieszka and Mac Barnett's Battle Bunny -- we'll take ordinary children's books and make them extraordinary by changing text, adding visuals, and making other alterations.  This program is for ages 9-12.  Registration for this program is required and begins June 25.

Dungeons & Dragons Tournament

Light InfantrymanEngage in a little friendly competition -- in your mind -- with a Dungeons & Dragons-based tournament game.  Role-play the part of a competitor in a fantasy tournament.  The player who lasts the longest wins a prize!  Swords will clash on Wednesday, July 8, 7:00-8:00 PM.  no registration required, but players must be present at the beginning of the event to participate.

Dungeons & Dragons Gaming Club in August

DiceRoll up some fun this summer with kid-friendly Dungeons & Dragons Gaming.  This monthly program will take place the fourth Monday of every month, June-August. Have fun using your imagination while also working on building problem-solving skills, practicing mathematics and chart-reading, and learning new vocabulary. The next session is August 24, 4:30-5:30 PM.  All playing materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own dice.  This program is suggested for ages 9-12.  Families are welcome.  No registration is required.
