Rob Crozier Jazz Ensemble - Live!

​​The Rob Crozier Jazz Ensemble is a jazz ensemble based in Ann Arbor focused on presenting the work of the singing bassist/multi-instrumentalist/composer Rob Crozier. After a whirlwind performance at the 2019 Detroit Jazz Festival, this fine group continues to wow audiences with its high energy approach to modern jazz. You can expect hard swinging modern jazz, a couple of spacious ballads, and a true variety of world music infused originals.

Haunted Travels of Michigan Presents: Step Into Darkness

A night of mystery and the unexplained awaits.  Join award-winning author, Kat Tedsen, as she tells the story of a remarkable turn-of-the-century Michigan Spirit Painter who believed the dead guided her hand in foretelling the future of America and the world. Her vision of the otherside and her final painting are sure to leave chills. Next, Kat will share her own personal account of a patient she worked with at Eloise Psychiatric Hospital in the mid-1970’s. A young man who descended into a world of night terrors. Were they part of his delusional state or could it have been more?

Roll - A - Picasso with Dani Cobb

Roll a dice and create a cubist looking face in the style of Pablo Picasso!  Local artist Dani Cobb will guide you through this fun activity that is part game and part art project.

Program will take place via Zoom. Registration is required and begins June 24. For ages 18+.

Exploring Backyard Wildlife

Learn more about the creatures we live alongside every day and the reason some backyards have more critters than others. We'll discuss the animals commonly seen living near people as well as some you may not have known were there.

Andrew Nowicki is a naturalist and environmental educator, with a degree in Zoology from Michigan State. He conducts programs all over Michigan, where he teaches audiences about the connections between wildlife, people, and society and how to experience more during their time outdoors.

Self Care Grab & Go Kit

May is Mental Health Awareness month and to celebrate we have assembled a Self Care Grab and Go Kit. Each kit will contain specially selected items to help you find calm and take care of YOU. Kits are for patrons 18 and older and will be available while supplies last. Registration to receive a kit begins on April 22 and ends May 6. Kits will be available for pick up starting May 13. Registered recipients will be notified by email with pick up instructions.

Meditations and Conversations with Reset Brain & Body

Join Sam Breitmeyer from Reset Brain & Body as she explores The Cycle of Stress. In this series of workshops, Sam will help you identify and explore individual tendencies and unconscious responses to stress. You will learn and practice mindful interventions to break the ongoing cycle. This program will take place via Zoom and will include meditation and visualization as well as a bit of self observation and reflection.
