The Michigan Activity Pass (MAP) program is back, and better than ever! In addition to providing free or discounted admission to cultural and historical attractions across the state, this year the MAP program has added access to Michigan State recreation areas, parks, historic sites and campgrounds as well!
Library patrons can use their card online to print a pass, either at home or the library, to one of the almost 400 participating institutions on the MAP website. The MAP program is designed to enhance the learning experience for users of all ages through books and other library materials. Each pass will offer complimentary or reduced price admission, discounts in the museum gift shops or other exclusive offers for MAP pass holders, for the duration of one week from the date printed.

Bring out the hero in you at our Target Family Reading Night on Wednesday, May 6, 7:00-8:00 PM. Attendees, ages 4-8, will hear heroic stories, participate in a series of activities to get their "official" superhero certification, and receive a free book to add to their own personal library. Costumes welcome. Registration begins April 22.
