Getting the vaccine in Canton Township

  • Canton residents 12 years and older may visit any of the Wayne County Health Department's walk-in vaccine clinics. The two closest walk-in locations are:
    • Schoolcraft College VisTaTech Center 18600 Haggerty Rd, Livonia OPEN: Mon-Sat 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
    • Wayne County Community College 9555 Haggerty Rd, Belleville OPEN: Mon-Sat 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Canton residents who need help scheduling an appointment may call the Township Clerk's office at 734-394-5120 or the Township Supervisor's office at 734-394-5185 Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

  • Canton residents who are homebound may call Canton Public Safety at 734-394-5400 and dispatch will take your information. You will receive a return call 1-2 days later, go through a brief screening to verify homebound status, and schedule an appointment for a home visit. On the day of your appointment, a Canton Fire paramedic will come to your home, administer the vaccine, and schedule a follow up appointment for the second dose. Please note: this option is only available to individuals physically unable to leave their homes. 
  • What to bring to your vaccine appointment

    • A photo ID and your Vaccination Record Card if you are receiving your second dose.

Kids 12 and up

Children 12-15 are now eligible for the Pfizer vaccine and the locations below are  offering the vaccine to this age group.

  • Wayne County Health Department Clinics - walk in or call 866-610-3885 for an appointment
  • Beaumont - call 800-592-4784 to schedule or bring your child to a walk-in clinic
    • Beaumont Learning and Innovation Center, 18200 Oakwood Blvd., Dearborn: 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday.
    • Beaumont Moceri Learning Center, 44201 Dequindre Road, Troy: 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
    • Beaumont Service Center: 26901 Beaumont Blvd., Southfield: 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday; 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday, and 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday.
  • Detroit Medical Center - call 313-263-3337 or visit www.childrensdmc.org
  • CVS - www.cvs.com
  • Rite Aid - www.riteaid.com/pharmacy/covid-qualifier
  • City of Detroit Health Department - appointments can be scheduled at 313-230-0505 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., but walk-ins also are welcome
    • TCF Center downtown, open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays
    • Northwest Activities Center, 18100 Meyers, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. weekdays
    • Straight Gate International Church, 10100 Grand River Ave., open 9 a.m.-7 p.m. weekday
    • Farwell Recreation Center, 2711 E. Outer Drive, open 9 a.m.-1 p.m. weekdays
    • Clemente, 2631 Bagley St., from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays 
    • Clark Park, 1130 Clark St.,  from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. weekday
    • Samaritan Center, 5555 Conner, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays

Getting the vaccine in Wayne County

  • Wayne County residents 12 years and older may visit any of the Wayne County Health Department's walk-in vaccine clinics. See the full list of locations here.
  • Wayne County residents who are homebound may contact their local municipality to schedule an appointment to get vaccinated during a home visit. Each city or township is providing its own personnel for these appointments. Click here to find the number for your city and call for more details. Please note: this option is only available to individuals physically unable to leave their homes. 
  • Senior citizens in Wayne County who need help scheduling an appointment may call the Wayne County Health Department at 734-727-7101.​
