Today marks the 400th Anniversary of William Shakespeare's death. The bard has influenced literature and culture for centuries - celebrate with one of these Shakespearean works!

William Shakespeare, the most celebrated poet in the English language, left behind nearly a million words of text, but his biography has long been a thicket of wild supposition arranged around scant facts. With a steady hand and his trademark wit, Bill Bryson sorts through this colorful muddle to reveal the man himself. 

Baz Luhrmann's rendition of the classic story of star-crossed lovers, set in a futuristic urban Verona Beach.

Tween Service Corps September 2015

Are you in 5th, 6th, or 7th grade and looking for an opportunity to volunteer at the library? It's time for another school year, which means our Tween Service Corps is starting back up again. We'll brainstorm about volunteer activities for October and beyond, so come prepared with any ideas you have! 


Our first meeting will be Saturday, September 12th from 9:30-10:30 AM in the Purple Room. No registration is required. 

Library Detectives

Children, ages 7-10, join us for a library mystery program! Library books have gone missing, and we need your help to find them. Practice your deduction skills, analyze the crime scene, read the witness statements, and figure out who is responsible for the crime.
