Hot Summer, Cool Kids

There are lots of fun ways to keep cool this summer and earn your Connect Your Summer Badges too. Read a book about an animal under a shady tree and earn your Make Tracks Badge. Or make a cool treat, and earn your Chow Down Badge. Go see a movie in a chilly theatre and earn your Curtains Up Badge. You can even go swimming in a lake or pool for your Go Wild badge, and read a favorite book on a raft.

Plush Pets Sleepover

Did you know that your favorite stuffed animal can enjoy the library too? Kids, ages four-six, and their caregiver can bring their furry friend to a special storytime on Thursday, July 19 from 7:00-7:45 PM. But it doesn't end there. Your stuffed animal can then stay at the library for a super fun sleepover. Don't worry, you can pick up your animal at the children's desk the next day. We will take pictures of all the animals' fun activities and post them on the library web site.
